Objective

Microtremor data were collected through field testing to analyze signal characteristics and develop a real-time acquisi-tion, processing, and interpretation algorithm aimed at enabling real-time monitoring of underground urban space safety.

 

Project Overview

The construction site is located beside a roadway in a central Chinese city, with a subway line running underground beneath the area.

 

Method

Microtremor survey with an interstation spacing of 2 meters.

 

Equipment

10 units of Ant-3C 5Hz 

 

Performance

The microtremor inversion profile reaches a depth of 15 meters. A distinct low-velocity anomaly was identified between the horizontal distance of 12 to 27 meters, which closely corresponds to the known depth and extent of the subway station.
